Today is my oldest daughter, Stacis birthday and with her tragic loss at 15, I will take the day to reflect on the journey we had together. Her being the oldest was the child that I learned the role of Mother on and perhaps at times made mistakes I wish I could undo. I was young with her, sometimes foolish, often selfish in my time, still being vain and young enough to think that bright light, party life was the all.....but, no matter what mistakes I made, she loved me hard and unconditionally and paved the way for me to grow up and realize that no matter who else comes and goes in your life, your children will be the ones with you all of your life, whether in person or memory. Please tell your children how special they are everyday..I wish I had that chance with Staci again. Happy Birthday, my beautiful Angel. I love you. ♥
