Today is one of Kimanas off days. She seams out of sorts lately anyway. We are needing a med adjustment soon. But today is another one of her lick the wall days! I give her things to chew but her teeth are so bad she doesnt chew much. She prefers to lick. I gave her some one on one time with Mum and took her out to walk around. The rain flips her out so that was short lived. So, she now gets her Kong to lick all she wants. peanut butter is her fav. We have to be careful with extra treats. She doesnt get enough exercise to burn the calories. The King should help her cheer up! Later we can spend some time on training exercises. She shakes hands like a pro now. It getting and keeping her away from her bed thats the hard part. We have been taking walks once a day. It is a complete round trip around the outside of our home. She knows the routine now and is always trying to hurry along back to the door. So the word slow is working good. And when I stop to pause, she sits right in my foot. She does that out of fear I think. It is her comfort zone while outside. Yesterday we sat on the patio for some sunshine and a brushing. It took a good 20 minutes just for her to relax enough to lay down. And that was with my help! All in all she is slowly learning that things and people can be trusted. Slowly is the key!
