Today is one of those days. You understand what I mean; I woke up; there was not a host of women showering me with gifts and money and undeserved attention while I lounged in a soft, comfortable bed and thought thoughts of decadence and indulgence. You know, like every other day. But then, that particular dream has an extremely low probability of spontaneously combusting into reality. So do I sit and ponder my unhappiness in the world not being perfect for my whim? Or do I take what joy I can in the moments of my day and try to pass kindness to the the folks I see and understand that adversity and strife is not the end of the world and revel that each breath is sweeter than the alternative and realise: Today is amazing. Like me. I am going with door number two! I hope there are women behind it!
