Today is one of those days when ordinary citizens show their secret identities and I realize that Im surrounded by a bunch of humble heroes. So many men and woman are willing to sacrifice their lives, their time, and their familys future so that you and I can have the opportunity to be more. I dont want to stand too high on my soap box because I have to admit that I hadnt taken full advantage of their sacrifices. What do I mean? I have so many rights and opportunities and I chose for a very long time to limit myself and complain and blame everyone else for my lack of progress and effort; Yet someone is out there fighting hard for me to choose to be less than what Im capable of... Pretty crazy if you ask me... So when you wake up tomorrow and you go back to your normal routine (that you probably hate) just know that all of the super heroes that we recognize today go back to an almost unacknowledged existence risking their lives, sacrificing their family time, and a lot of their freedoms so that we can live the life that we ALL have the opportunity and freedom to live. Thank you all for being fearless and giving me all of the opportunities and freedoms that I claim! And thank you to all of those families out there who allow your super heroes to be our super heroes! This world owes you more than we probably know!
