Today is one year since my life changed forever. No more can I see your smiling face, hear your words, feel your arms around me. While the world around me holds hands, wrap their arms around each other and just enjoy being together, I sit and just remember the times we did that. I’ll never be the same but I will carry on because I know that’s what you would have wanted me to do. Until you got so sick, you had such a warm and generous nature. You loved to make people smile and be happy . Many times you invited people to stay with us for awhile while they got on their feet, or you invited them for a meal in our home when they had nowhere else to go. You unselfishly gave of your time and money to help so many people. You are my angel in heaven and I know you’re watching over me. Some day, we will be together again. Until then, know that I’ll love you forever.
