Today is the 15,614th day I have been alive. While 42 doesnt seem like a lot when youre measuring in years, when you break it down into days it starts to seem like an awful lot. 15,614 days is a lot of opportunities, a lot of experiences, a lot of choices made. If this were monies instead of days I might be able to look at my account and see how much I have left to spend. But I cant. I have no way of knowing if I have another 15,000 left of only a few hundred. When you say I have lived 42 years I say, I still have plenty of time, when you say I have lived 15,614 days I ask, Where did it all go? LOL Isnt it funny how using a different measure to weigh something can inspire us to take another look at something we mightve been taking for granted?
