Today is the 50th anniversary of the creation of the Warren Commission, set up by U.S. President Johnson to investigate the murder of predecessor, JFK. After 10 months and $1-million, they concluded Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone in the assassination and so did Jack Ruby in his murder of Oswald. I loved the comedy skit once done on the TV show Laugh-In, in the late 1960s. Comedian Dan Rowan did a bit called News of the Future. This particular one went something like this: Dateline 2063. The long-awaited second report of the Warren Commission was released today in spite of a mysterious fire at the National Archives and the disappearance of the city of Dallas. The report is entitled What Assassination?
