Today is the 7th day of Advent, the week of Hope! When I was diagnosed with cancer, God spoke to my heart that I would be given Beauty for Ashes (Isaiah 61:3) and I truly felt I would be healed but I would also walk the Journey and battle through treatments but in the end God would be praised and I would be healed. Today as I reflect on this past year, I saw this post from Pastor James Sunnock it gives me a deeper meaning and closer relationship with my Savior. While I never wished for cancer I did/and do trust the Lord has a plan for the Journey I am on. I am planted like a righteous oak for His glory.
