Today is the Autumnal Equinox, the first day of the turn of the seasons to fall - though we dont feel it here in Southern California as the warm evenings stretch long into October. Equal night, equal day, in balance. A softening in the earth, the leaves turning, and a call inward toward our selves. We can consider the way we are living and the balance of our own lives during this transition. All of life is about exploring and holding this authentic balance. Its essential that we stop in these moments, and breathe, and ask the deeper questions of ourselves. Where is my true center? Am I holding steady there? Have I lost my balanced way home? This need not be a serious question. It can be instead, an open hearted, open minded, engagement with our imagination in play and curiosity. This is what Im asking tonight -- to know more about the most vibrant, meaningful, way forward in my wholeness and balance ... Maybe youll join me. Happy Equinox.
