Faded and Educated Event: Date: August 4th Time: 8 am – 2:00 pm Location: Twice the Cuts Salon, 8905 NE 10th Street, MWC, OK 73110 Volunteers are welcome to come and hand out bags throughout the day. We are looking forward to another great program this year. Program Description: Twice the Cuts Salon tenth annual free back to school haircuts and school supplies giveaway. We provide school supplies, lunch, higher education information, and a day of activities for the students. Objective: The objective of this program is to inspire and encourage underprivileged young men to stay in school by helping them prepare for the new year with school supplies and a haircut. Our hope is that this program serves as a strategy to assist young males in overcoming the challenges of their educational development and well-being. Goals: 1. To emphasize the importance of education and provide tools to succeed such as school supplies and information on higher education. 2. To create a fun and safe environment and celebration for the upcoming school year.
