Today is the Day of the Unborn Children. A poem created by Pro-Life advocate, Emma G.Culanag Stand Speak for Life I am unfolding in your womb,A small embryo, newly sown; Too young to move, to cry, to breath, too small to make my presence known. You did your part, to give me life, Was it a life devoid of love? How hapless it would be if was made that way, For in my insignificance, I would be easy prey, for flushing out the loveless way. But dont flush me out, Im part of you; Dont freeze me now Im human too. Oh, how could you still praise your God, and smash His handiwork? Speak of rights, yet you deny my own; Enjoy the pleasures of the world, and leave me here, unknown? But if you only knew, my Mom, Im here, intended to be yours, Yours to protect, to carry, and to love. That when Im grown, the Lord above intends that I would do the same, and give you back protection that you gave. All you out there, dont fight among yourselves, and leave me here forgotten. Do not just talk about me, friend; Do something now before the world goes barren. Please spare life, and this is how I hope and pray youll do: Stand, speak for me now, next time, Ill fight for you.
