Today is the National Day of Greenland (Greenlandic: Kalaallit Nunaat )(Denmark) because 21 June is the Longest Day of the Year! The National Day was introduced in 1983 as one of the Home Rules traditions and is thus one of several expressions of national identity, which is also reflected in the flag, clothing, national anthem and language. Praying for the Greenlander/Greenlandic people & for Greenland (Greenlandic: Kalaallit Nunaat)!! Praying for the Evangelical witness in Greenland. Praying for believers in Greenland to live a strong witness &to share the love of Christ w/ others! Praying for more Greenlanders to hear the gospel of Jesus & to come to faith in HIm! Thankful to God for airstrips now built in several remote towns, & for advancements in techology, opening these places for ministry! Praying for the indigenous Greenlandic Inuit (& European mixed) as well as for the Europeans that live in Greenland (Mostly Danish). May God make Greenland a light to the Kingdom of Denmark & to the world!
