Today is the United Nations International Day of Peace. New - TopicsExpress

Today is the United Nations International Day of Peace. New Zealand is fortunate to be free of wide-scale unrest, violence and conflict. However, as one of the most diverse countries in the OECD, our work as a nation to build an inclusive society continues. This work, to maintain and improve New Zealand’s reputation for social harmony, is one of the Office of Ethnic Affairs’ key priorities. On this International Day of Peace, the Office of Ethnic Affairs would like to acknowledge all who work with us for a better New Zealand, as well as all those with family and friends affected by insecurity and conflict around the world.
