Today is the big day! I will be speaking to the Benton County Sheriffs Department on identifying horse neglect and abuse. I have a Powerpoint presentation prepared, a Henneke chart that describes body condition in the 6 key areas, and I designed a questionnaire for them to use when they are called out for a complaint. I hope the information is well received, and can improve circumstances for local horses in the coming months. Wish me luck!
