Today is the day 2 years ago I was admitted to the hospital with a liver enzyme level of a 30. I know people get tired of hearing or me sharing my story, but you have no idea..... I refuse to stop being grateful and thankful for a chance at my new life. My ankles were swollen, my body retaining water, my stomach swollen with fluid. My eyes dark yellow, and skin dull and dead looking. I had no energy but pushed myself everyday. Worked 70 hrs a week if need be. Coached fb and bball. Never turned down an opportunity to help people knowing I had no energy or strength. I pushed anyway. I spent nights and days questioning God as to why. Didnt know if I was going to live or die. I just relied on hope and God. I wont stop, cant stop, sharing my story. Not just for me, but to all my fellow transplant recipients. I love you all. The love movement will be reaching out to families that have been through organ donation, or going through it. Our stories will be heard.... if youre not a donor, research KODA and read all the wonderful testimonies associated with organ donation. Talk to someone whos been through it, and youll understand why our lives are so different and our perspective on life changed the minute we woke up from surgery! This is why Im so in LOVE with life now. Nothing matters except living and loving! Theres no greater gift than life itself! #realestisheverwrote #organdonation
