Today is the day. After having spent about 6 months close to my beloved Pacific Ocean, I have to move. Actually, I have been moving, but this is the real deal- the last time I hope to rent a truck and fill it and unload it.I really wish it hadna come to this, but Southern California real estate prices ( and Northern Calif. ) drove me to one place- the high desert. I am about to become a sand person, something that I am not really happy about, but I was able to not ever have to have a mortgage again, so I can continue to not be a slave to a wage. My place has potential to become an oasis, but thats gonna take some time. I will not have internet access for a week- I have only been checking in to gift folks, but I need to focus now.
