Today is the day!! Jake has been accepted to Touro Rehabilitation Hospital in New Orleans. He has met all of their criteria and is a prime candidate for their extraordinary rehab program. We leave Lafayette some time today - Jake will be transported by ambulance and I will follow. There is a family housing center were I can stay with other families in the same situation. We are so excited and feel very privileged to be able to get this level of care. Jake will be in room M413 and the phone number to the hospital is 504-897-8150. We are so thankful to everyone for prayers, food, encouragement, visits, quarters, cash, books, cards, phone calls, magazines,flowers,balloons... Keep in touch and keep praying because now the hard work begins.
