Today is the day! This afternoon I will graduate from UF with my PharmD. What a journey I have had in life to this point.! It took a lot of time, energy and sacrifice from myself and others to get me to this point. I am so fortunate to have a family that has supported and encouraged me throughout my life.. Of course, I must acknowledge my mothers role in my decision to go back for my Dr of Pharmacy. Her life, death and commitment to patient care as a RN and CDE provided much of the stimulus. But most of all, today is a day to express my gratitude and appreciation for my father, Richard Huyett. He has rallied behind me no matter what ambitious undertaking appeared at the top of my list: become a professional actress, fitness professional, ironman athlete; move to FL; get married, separated, divorced; become a pharmacist; and the list will continue no doubt . . . Through it all, he has believed in me and only wished me happiness. Thanks Jennifer Huyett Schroeder, Amy Huyett, Richard Huyett -- I love you all.
