Today is the day folks! ECMO has done its job. The infection - TopicsExpress

Today is the day folks! ECMO has done its job. The infection in his lungs is now under control. He has moved from critical to stable condition. Therefore, we can officially say that he is off life support and on the road to recovery! So as we move into 2015, our New Years wish is that his body responds to being off ECMO - the machine that saved his life - and that his lungs continue to heal. And while he is still unconscious and will have missed quite a bit - Christmas, an Aggie bowl game win and New Years - were excited for the progression and the hope for him to be able to wake up soon. Weve got one heck of a story for you, James! Thank you all for the continued prayers and support. We will continue to update with his progress, hopefully some with pictures of James. Have a wonderful and safe New Years!
