Today is the day that The Lord has made, let us be glad and rejoice in it.... This is what I have been telling myself every morning. Hannah had a peaceful day yesterday and only had some pain last night. We were able to get it under control with medication . It has been great for her being able to get out of the house on a few occasions although she dreads the questions from people who are curious. She is still having nightmares about the incident. Our visit with the school on Friday was great. We were so encouraged by the staff and their willingness to help Hannah have a successful year. I know that we all have the same goal in mind.... The absolute best for Hannah. We are looking forward to her possibly being able to face time with some of the students. Our goals are to make sure she doesnt fall behind and that she has some social interaction with other students. We were so thankful for the garage sale yesterday and the MANY people who gave their time, property, and sweat to make it happen!! My friend Jennifer Brownlee Beaty sent me a video of a little street high kick by a precious woman and I loved it! She was working for the garage sale! Kimberly McGarvey was so thoughtful to organize this event. My thanks to Jann Bogenschutz-Salyer who brought numerous boxes to our home the day before to put in the garage sale. We feel so blessed by everyone for their constant love and prayers especially Debrah Owen who continues to amaze me by everything she does, My dad and Angie King , and our many friends who keep us in their thoughts daily. Without the support we have, I really dont know where we would be. One of the greatest things has been the amount of young people that have prayed for Hannah from the first day after surgery until now, it is a great testament of the character of the young people in this community. A couple of weeks ago, we received a visit from our neighbors grandson. It was right after we had returned home from the hospital. His purpose for the visit was to ask what he could do for us and for Hannah and to let us know that he was praying for us. Shortly after that, his mother brought over a donation from The Coffee House. Along with the donation, was a donation from the young man himself. I was completely moved by the generosity of these people and THIS is how the love and support started flowing for our family. Thank you Christian Thomas Dionisio and Traci Preston Dionisio for warming our hearts. It has been a long month since the event that changed Hannahs life. Words are not even close to adequate to give thanks to the many people for everything they have done. I hope each of you knows what an impact you have had on our life. Even a simple thinking about you has brightened our day. Today IS the day the LORD made. We are blessed... With Love~The Winks
