Today is the day we pray for those seeking the gift of the Holy Ghost. If you are seeking, enter your name in the comment section. Father in Jesus Name we pray for every name here that is seeking the gift of the Holy Ghost. Fill them Lord. We all need your power. With it we have power to walk on the demons heads. Glory to God we thank you Lord in Jesus Name! To Receive The Holy Ghost: One has to be ready to totally surrender your life to Jesus Christ. The first thing we need to do is repent. Repeat This Once: Father in Jesus Name I repent of my sins. I am sorry Lord and I ask for forgiveness of all of my sins. I confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. I believe in my heart that you raised him from the dead. Now Lord fill me with the gift of the Holy Ghost……Now that you have confessed Jesus as Lord you should begin to thank God for all that he has done for you. Continue thanking him everyday for the gift of the Holy Ghost. It is a gift. You don’t have to beg for it. Keep asking and it is yours! Baptism is part of the salvation plan. But you can receive the Holy Ghost before baptism as well! Ask God to lead you to a church where the gospel is preached under the anointing of the Holy Ghost! TEACHING ON THE HOLY GHOST FOR THOSE SEEKING IT! The Holy Ghost – All of us must be filled with the Holy Ghost. It is the power of God in your life! Jesus was getting ready to go to Calvary and he taught the disciples that he would not leave them comfortless but he would come again to them in the form of the Spirit which is the Holy Ghost. John 14 16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 18 I will not leave you comfortless: I WILL COME TO YOU! 26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Before his ascension into heaven, Jesus told the disciples that they should wait in Jerusalem until they were filled with power, the Holy Ghost so that they could become witnesses for him! Acts 1;4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. Acts 1:8 8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. So they went to Jerusalem and waited in the upper room for the Holy Ghost. It was the day of Pentecost. Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. 5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. 6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language. 7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans? 8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born? Notice they all were filled with the Holy Ghost and spoke in other tongues (other languages) because there were people there from different areas that spoke different languages that heard them speak and they understood what they were saying. This is the initial evidence that one is filled with the Holy Ghost. You will speak in other tongues (another language). It does not mean that you will always speak in tongues. It is just the initial evidence that you have been filled. The tongue that you will be filled with is a language that is spoken somewhere on this earth. This is not the gift of tongues – that is something totally different where one has a gift with interpretation. There were others that heard them and wanted the Holy Ghost and they asked Peter, what must we do? He responded in Acts 2:38 37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call. We are not born with the spirit in us. We must be born again. See John Chapter 3. Jesus told Nicodemus that he must be born again. The Holy Ghost is the power of God in us. We must have it. Jesus said If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? Luke 11:13. The Simplicity of Speaking in Tongues – It is not something scary as has been thought to be. Speaking in tongues is a miraculous gift that God gives to one and is the initial sign when they receive the Holy Ghost. It is simply one speaking in another language that they have not learned. Who is afraid of another language! It’s that simple. Acts 2:38. The language does exist somewhere on earth.
