Today is the first day of Advent. Its intended to be a time of preparation. Im intending to make time every day to do just that: spend time in quiet contemplation and mediation, going inwards rather than outwards. Since I got the most humungous Advent candle, I figure that using the time it takes to burn down one unit for my quiet time may mean that come Christmas I may have transfigured into some sort of saint.
