Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Some time ago, I watched a race on television, wherein the famed Usain Bolt was a competitor. As the gun went off, it was clear to all that he had a horrible start. As I watched all the other athletes pull away, I felt that this was the one time "Lightning Bolt" was truly going to lose. In amazement I looked on as he gathered himself together and surged ahead to eventually win the race. There are times in life when we all may get off to such a bad start that we may be actually tempted to give up. We may look at others as they appear to run past us and think that it is all over, but IT IS NOT!!! Whose race are you running? It is your own. Stay in your lane and focus on the course that is ahead of you. No matter what happens, finish your race. Starting badly never means ending badly, unless you determine that to be your portion. You may have started weak but you can certainly finish strong. NEVER GIVE UP, the winner is in you. Stay strong and stay focused.
