Today is the first death anniversary of my father. He was a regular contributor to The Daily Star and other national dailies. As a management consultant, he was associated with Rapport Bangladesh Limited till his death. He started his carrier with Pakistan High Commission in India back in 1959. Later he concentrated on textile sector and worked with EPIDC, BTMC and run a few renowned textile mills. After retirement in 1982 he worked with ICDDRB, SMP as Head of Personnel. He took great interest in national and international politics and regularly wrote articles in renowned dailies. On his first death anniversary, I solicit your prayers for the salvation of departed soul of my father Kazi Alauddin Ahmed.
