Today is the hubbys 50th bday and I have spent all afternoon making him homemade seafood gumbo with the long distance help of my good friend Stephanie Wheat Perrin from Louisiana. I am tellin you this gumbo is legit!! Stephanie, if you could taste it you would be proud of me! Thank you for all your help. It tastes way better than the recipes online that I have tried before. However, it was somewhat difficult when you would say throw in a little and some of that. It all worked out though. Now to clean my disaster of a kitchen.
