Today is the last day to send comments to the MDEQ regarding proposed changes to regulations that oversee fracking operations. The proposed rules are not strong enough to prevent harm to our rivers, lakes, and streams. Fracking under the proposed rules will still expose Michigan’s water, wildlife, and citizens to huge risks from hazardous chemicals and massive large quantity water withdrawals.
