Today is the last day to sign up for the forced healthcare. I dont think I am going to do it. I havent had health insurance for years. If I dont get it, I will be fined. If I do get it, I will be donating money for something that I rarely use. I am really torn about this. Yes, it is good to have health insurance. I have seen how many people this program has screwed over and it has left a very bad taste in my mouth. Really not sure what to do. I could get the cheapest program, but I would be left with big out of pocket costs if I did that. I can get something that covers more (Gold or Silver plan) but will be shelling out $300-$500 every month instead of putting it into my savings. Or I could just pay the fine. This is really aggravating... Someone please help me understand why I should believe in this program (other than being forced to believe).
