Today is the last of our weekly police dog updates. Zeus, Shadow, Mia and Stevie have reached the end of their course and this week, they all received their certificates and had their photographs taken outside the dog section at Hindlip. Hannah Jones and her daughter, Gemma, were special guests. Hannah is the daughter of former Dog Sergeant Ian Jones, who sadly passed away following a heart attack whilst he was on duty in the dog section building. Hannah and Gemma presented Stevie and his Sergeant with their certificate, as Hannah will be following in her Dad’s footsteps as a Dog Sergeant in Shropshire. Also in attendance was Julie Moule, the breeder and supplier of all of the dogs on the course, who brought along Merlin, father to all of the dogs. A big thank you to Julie for providing us with such a great group of dogs to train. We’re sad to say that our weekly updates on Zeus, Shadow, Mia and Stevie have now come to an end.
