Today is the official release day for The Future for Curious - TopicsExpress

Today is the official release day for The Future for Curious People and, my fellow writers, If your pub day doesnt kind of make you want to throw up, there might always be some gulf of understanding between us. I meet each release with panic and fear, and a little hopefulness that I work hard to bury. I feel adrift but resigned to it -- the motors cut, there are no oars, lightning snaps on the horizon, and this boat is made of metal. I imagine my characters on shore, but running to skinny-dip off the edge of a darkened dock, and if they cant swim -- did I try to teach them? -- theres nothing I can do for them now even if my little metal boat is crammed full of life-jackets. Its already too late. When I read other writers posts announcing pub days, Im jealous of what reads as fearless joy or maybe they have a stronger Cary Grant graciousness that stops them from writing posts like this. In any case, hoo-ha. If you need me, Ill be over here, spinning slow circles on the lake. [Oh, and you wont see my name on the cover of this book. My role is explained on p. 321.] barnesandnoble/w/the-future-for-curious-people-greg-sherl/1117904878?ean=9781616203696
