Today is the three year anniversary of the day I embarked on a journey that continues everyday to shape who I am. Ive been searching for a photo, as we social media addicts often do, that would be fitting to announce this anniversary, but have come up not wanting to recycle #tbt worthy images to commemorate a day that I will forever thank my Savior for giving me. Luckily, a few AMAZING pageant friends recently entered into a heated debate and shared this little gem. This is an awe inspiring video from an inspirational author that sheds light on one of the ways I grew into a more informed individual during my four months in Uganda. Everyone has a story, or as I like to think of it, everyone was created in the image of a Holy God. And to diminish that image by describing it in a singular way is as crazy as saying there is only one way to describe the Creator of the Universe. Take a moment to listen to this TED Talk.
