Today is #thestateofthenationaddress, an event that opens the fourth session of the Ugandan Parliament but also an opportunity for the Head of state to address us Ugandans on the current affairs of our country,to give us accountability of what he promised to do for us a year ago and to chat a way forward on some of those issues that Ugandans really want addressed.TS an opportunity too for us Ugandans to draw hope from what the president will say both for ourselves and for the larger economic body politic of our nation Uganda,so as someone who is civilized and some one who has studied economics and an ardent believer in economic transformation thru sober deliberation on political,social,global and economic dimensions,mnt going to preempt what the president will have to say to us like some uncivilized citizens are attempting to;but for some reason they are justified to,but will rather glue my eyes to the TV but argue him may be in futility not to repeat his usual rhetoric of bush stories and how Ugandas GDP has grown simanyiby 6.5% but rather we need a critical and a more sensible net benefit analysis of how that growth has trickled down to my fellow villagers of kyangyenyi Muziira kamuhangaza sheema district
