Today, it has been one year since our Dad left us. The day is embedded in my mind so vividly. It happened so quickly; so unexpectedly and still, today, is hard to imagine he is gone. He was the greatest person I ever had the honor to know. He made me laugh. I was his baby girl. He raised my son as his own and he was the only father he ever knew, and what a great father he was. He was oh so handsome, kind, smart, honest, hard-working, hard-living, and the only one true love of my life. We all know how much he loved us, but one thing was certain…he loved our Mom more and when she left us, he couldn’t stand life without her.
