Today it is less than one footers out on lake today. The rest of the weekend looks beautiful with less than one footers till tuesday. There is barely a chance for rain this weekend also. They have been doing pretty good off of walnut for the perch in 35 to 40 foot straight out. Also off the hammermill stacks in 35 to 40 foot off water. They have also been catching some off the north and south pier. Along with lots of bass and some rock bass. The bass are on fire right now in the bay and in the lake. Also in elk creek they have been doing really well. The guys in the bay and on the lake have been using plugs, tubes, and some have been drifting golden shiners. The creek fishermen have been using leeches, crawdads, big goldies, and plugs. The walleyes are still pretty slow at day time, but it is getting very good at night now. Stay in about 8 to 15 foot of water and troll any short lipped plugs in firetiger and trout colors. Hopefully soon the day time bite picks up a bit. They are still catching lakers over northeast. They have been mostly using spoons. They have been fishing in 45 to 60 feet, and fishing only 5 to 10 feet off the bottom. Mostly downriggers and dipseys right now, and also leadcore.
