Today it was a little bit of an emotional day for me, I spend for the last three days by fostering the sweet dog. My brother came up with a nice name for her, Ivana. I adored Ivana so much, and she was very lovable pup. When we surrounded people (As I worked with her by transitioning and get comfortable with new people and new owners) and only person, she will stay by side: Me. When she heard my voice or knew my smell: she wagged her tail, bark with excitement, and stretch her body against my legs. Even when I was driving, she hopped from the passenger seat to the driver seat on my lap and then she fell asleep. Oh yeah, she snored! With my brothers help, he allowed Ivana to sleep over so I could avoid the attachment between me and Ivana (Unfortunately, it did not work that way for me, lol). Of course, I was paranoid for her not be able to have a good family home. I hunted down to people I know and reminded them to spread the words for Ivana that needed a home. Finally, the lady who called at my work at the last hour, contacted me there was a potential owner that interested to adopt Ivana. I was so excited because I prayed for this sweet creature to placed in a good home rather than sending her to dog pound or shelter. Especially she is a senior dog and no one wants senior dog like her. We made an arrangement to meet and discuss how to introduce Ivana to the potential owners another dog. It was working out well. The owner decided to adopt. We agreed that the owner will pick her up today at this afternoon. The owner, the lady who called at the last hour at work, and I were at my work with Ivana. As I gave her to the new owner, I broke down with tears and knew that I miss her so. Both of them were crying and hugged me. The owner will keep in touch with me how Ivana is doing with her new home plus their another dog. Now, Ivana has a new name that is changed to Bella, because she is so beautiful and special. This is a pure joy and I am now at peace by knowing that she is in a good hand.
