Today it’s all about rock and roll and Batman the movie directed by Tim Burton--in fact the movie was released 25 years ago today on June 23,1989! This is the movie that put Batman back in his rightful place as an iconic character for movies and TV and wiped out all the bad memories of the Adam West years. In the 60’s, I read a lot of comics-- DC comics to be exact-- which included Superman, The Flash, Green Lantern, and most of all The Batman. He was always my favorite! My brothers were comic book readers to various degrees, and we kept every issue! We almost had every DC comic printed in the 60’s!! Anyway, for me, comics eventually lost out to music in capturing my imagination and attention, but I was thrilled with the above movie, even with some flaws I loved it.
