Today just needs to be over. Was baking the frozen chicken breasts for the dogs and the oven caught on fire. I put the fire out with baking soda, but then the bottom element would not shut off and caught on fire again, I doused it again, then turned off the electric to it at the circuit breaker and texted my contractor to haul it away next week. The electronics are toast. It had a problem with Joe last week too, 12 yrs old and ready for the scrap heap:( As I was trying to air out the house Joe came home with ice cream and asked what I cooked.....He is now reading reviews on stoves, the only stores in town are Sears and Lowes, will see what he gets as he does 99% of the cooking.
