Today, let us not forget why we get together and celebrate. After we all make It through the americanized part of this holiday, where we stuff our faces until the food is gone, and while you are sitting by the pool, wishing you wouldnt have eaten that last brat, humble yourself down, and take a minute to realize why you can do that. Realize why we are allowed to be fat and rich, and have multiple cars and houses, and why we arent at work today. Remember why... I thank all of you who have taken that leap of faith and courage, the ones who have done what most cant or wont. And the ones who put your life on the line, to fight for the freedom we take for granted. You all hold a special place in my heart. Army, marines, air force, national guard, navy, you are all different entities, but all fighting for the same cause, and I thank you. Happy Fourth everyone! And to my brother, it brings me to tears knowing that you arent here on your big 21st, knowing that you are eight thousand miles away, away from family and friends, doing the most courageous thing someone could do. Caleb French you are a piece of work, but I know the boys back me up when I say we wouldnt trade you for anything. I pray for you everyday, and will until you are back on US soil. Be safe over there, Im proud of you brother! Happy bday!! We got some celebrating to do when you get back!! I love you!
