Today little Dennis graduated to full contact Kung Fu. Black Uniform and a yellow belt. My first born some is 6 years. old. I remember when I held my son in my arms for the first time I loved him instantly just because he was him. Thursday my son will be forced to fight and defend himself. He will begin his transition into manhood, learning the hard lessons taught to men by violence, fear, pain, conflict, power, aggression, anger, rage, courtesy, respect, and control. There are many of you who while think this is harsh. My response is thst the world is harsh. My job as a loving father is to prepare my son for the world so that he will succeed. That is my job.
