Today looks similar to yesterday. A few showers and storms will be back, mainly this afternoon, however rain won’t be widespread today. Temperatures will continue to run slightly below average for this time of year with highs in the upper 80s. The chance for rain is around 20%. We’ll stay quiet tonight with partly cloudy skies and patchy fog. Lows will be in the mid 60s. Shower and storm chances will begin to pick up a bit tomorrow. Temperatures will be in the mid 80s. Showers and thunderstorms will become more widespread by Thursday and Friday as tropical moisture surges into the area. It may not be an all day rain for your 4th of July plans, but be prepared to move the outdoor activities inside if necessary. The chance for rain will climb to around 70-80% as we end the week. With more rain around temperatures will cool down with highs likely not getting above the lower 80s. Rain chances will go down for the weekend, though a few spotty showers and storms will remain possible. Temperatures will begin to heat back up with highs returning to the 90s by the end of the weekend.
