Today makes 9 years since Paige Ann Marie Horton came into our lives. I remember leaving Eldon about 10 pm for Ft Campbell, KY and when I got to St Louis a voice in my head said you are not going to make it for the actual birth and I smiled and continued to drive on. When I got to the hospital and ask for Megan Schuh Horton one nurse said to the other nurse isnt that the patient who had a problem, scared me then she explained that they had so many babies that Megan had been with a mid-wife and the baby would not wait for delivery room, she was born in the bed. When I first saw her she reminded of a little pixie. Today she is still one to move fast and not always think first. She carries the middle name Ann in honor being the first born granddaughter of the first born daughter(Megan) of the first born daughter (me) of the first born daughter (my mother Mary Ann), and also of her grandma Schuh ( Marjorie Ann. Also Kim Pritchett Starkey-Evins. Marie is in honor of Tina Marie Allen (Megans Best friend), Angie Stegeman (Megans cousin), Johna Starkey ( another cousin), Aunt Gail. The middle names have much meaning and honor of those important in Paiges mothers life. HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAIGE, have a fun day shopping with Mom. Hope you find some new shoes and an outfit or two.
