Today makes Akira Hollis 200 DAYS POST TRANSPLANT! I cant believe how STRONG my child is! This journey has been soooo HARD & LONNNNGGGGG! We have been away from family, home, my career,& her friends for almost 8 months. But she just sits back and takes it in stride. I get so emotional somedays, just as she does....but we hold hands and push each other, ALOT! And I must admit, we wonder if we made the right decision, its our human nature, but we remember tht we prayed about it and we let God lead us, so the doubt ceases. My child has ZERO SIGNS OF SICKLE CELL DISEASE, and although we are still climbing, what seems like a mountain with no end, WE KEEP LOOKING UP.....CLIMBING, with tears in our eyes sometimes, in assurance that WE WILL MAKE IT TO THE TOP...IN GODS TIMING! Keep us lifted. ...for we are gettn weary! Be blessed! #TEAMAKIRA
