Today makes exactly 2 years since my release from prison. I have to admit it doesnt feel like that long, but as I sit and reflect on everything Ive accomplished I can honestly say Im proud of myself. My bro Kris Loyalty and I had a very constructive conversation last night about the importance of a support system and having positive goals to attain while making that transition bacc into society. Unfortunately, a lot of brothers and sisters dont have positive influences and a support system to help them maintain themselves after being in the system. I stress the importance of unity and supporting one another without judgment in this environment that can be so harsh and unforgiving. All it takes is love, patience, and understanding and our people can bounce bacc from any obstacle that attempts to hold us bacc from being the GREAT people that we are meant to be. Thank you to all the people who continue to push me in the right direction. I challenge everyone to do the same with others that have been through similar hardships. Stay positive, stay optimistic, and stay FOCUSED! One day at a time!! #Gratitude #Hotep
