Today many prayers were answered! Ivys Cardiac specialist met with a team of Drs in IC and due to her odds defying amazing health (despite her heart condition), they want to give Ivy until a year to decide about surgery now. Which means that MAYBE she wont even have to have it!!! They will repeat the echo on her heart in about 4 months and we will find out then!So no open heart surgery in the next few weeks like we previously thought! As if that wasnt enough good news, we also got a call from the lawyer and after a very stressful, confusing and long adoption process, we have a date set for finalization!!! Shes been ours in our hearts from day 1, but October 9th Ivy legally becomes Miss Ivy Karns. I couldnt be happier right now!!! :):):)
