Today marks 7 years since our dad passed away. It caused a crisis in my life that changed me for the better. All The passion I had poured into ministry over the years came to a halt because what I had been taught in religion sent my Father to Hell. He went to Hell because he didnt do enough. He didnt go to church and he wasnt on fire for God. It took me 30 days to grieve. 30 days to ask God some very hard questions. 30 days to realize that religion had lied to me, not just about my dad, but about other things too. Its been 7 years dad and the last lesson you left me with as you went to Heaven was that love never fails. I always knew you loved me and others by your expression. Because of you I broke free from a religious task master of a God and found the living Christ who loves, forgives and saves. My life is far greater because of my dad. He loved me to life even in death. Today, I wana thank God for Russ Langley, a great dad and father, and friend..miss ya dad..but I NOW KNOW you are waiting for me in Heaven.. ps, I still watch them Tigers,
