Today marks exactly one year to the day of when I received my get. I spent hundreds of hours davening and crying for it... Davening and crying to HaShem ONLY. It was and remains especially poignant to me that I received it on Rosh Chodesh Elul... ( the first day that HaShem comes to town - as chazal say that Hamelech basadeh- the king is in the field and therefore our prayers in Elul are more powerful than ever..) Prayer is our most powerful weapon. I have lost count of how many prayers I said and how many tears I shed... But HaShem does come through for us... Maybe not always in the way that we want Him to... After all He has a master plan. And He doesnt work for us... We dont get to tell Him how to run His world... But the gates of tears are ALWAYS open... The times that I said the entire Sefer tehillim... 5-6 hours straight with tears that can fill an ocean, I have seen immediate yeshuos... Even seemingly small ones are a tremendous comfort when one is suffering... And who today is not suffering from one thing or another??? Who? No one is exempt....they may not advertise it... Or be so open about it but everyone is on their own journey.. I thank HaShem today for ALL of the pain He blessed me with from the day I was born.... And that is a heck of a lot of pain.... You cant imagine...lol... But each moment made me a much stronger person. A person that is more confident, kind, sensitive to others, compassionate, spiritual .... When we feel like we are at the edge of a mountain with no where to go, HaShem will either carry us or give us wings to fly... If we bring HaShem into our lives through simple faith and belief... The journey is so much easier.... Without my Emunah, Bitachon and tefilla I dont know where I would be or how I would survive.... They are my lifeline... Read tehiim in English or the language of your understanding and you will forever be changed... No, I am not a spiritual freak as some may laugh...I am a believer and Im so grateful for that gift!!! And Im grateful that HaShem blessed me with the determination to constantly strengthen my Emunah and Bitachon. Hodu lHaShem ki tov ki lolam chasdo!!!!! Thank you HaShem!! Whatever I am, I am always Your precious daughter. Wherever I stand, I always stand right beside You, my dear Father- Avinu shebashamayim!! Baruch HaShem! May He continue to carry and strengthen each of us amvsh!!! Through brachos and not yissurim!!!
