Today marks my 3 year anniversary in Jiu-Jitsu aka Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu ;) Im a 3 stripe Blue Belt...Ive got so many Jiu-Jitsu peeps to thank...Ive had 5 Professors at 5 different schools...My 1st was Professor Jeff Hennen...He got me playing chess and taught me a lot in Jiu-Jitsu and gave me all my rank except 1 stripe on my blue belt...I appreciate him the most! Professor Steve Austin was my 2nd...I was only there for 4 months, but learned a lot from the Champ...My 3rd was Professor Brandon Quick...Awesome Jiu-Jitsu teacher and taught me a lot about Jiu-Jitsu and all the different games in BJJ...AND about the business side...We good friends on top of that! My 4th school was RCJ Machado Jiu-Jitsu-Lake Highlands under Professor Marcio Santos...Was there 8 months and my basics got really good...Also Master Carlos Machado gave me my 1st stripe on my blue belt! Sweet :) Now I am at Marcelo Garcia Jiu Jitsu of Dallas under Professor Rob Ables...I wish I would have found this place a long time ago...I will be staying under Rob and getting my Black Belt from him! Ive met so many great Jiu-Jitsu practitioners in my first 3 years its just awesome...Ive had 420 classes, attended 28 seminars, and have had 10+ privates...Ive only competed in 3 tournament and won a Silver in NoGi (as White Belt), Gold in Gi (as a White Belt), and Bronze in Gi (as Blue Belt)...Lots of hours on the mat, with so much sweat, blood, but No tears ;) Ive got a weird Jiu-Jitsu game and have a finishing move that I call the FTO Bar :D This is just the beginning and my game is gonna excel under Professor Rob Ables and all my new teammates there...THANK YOU to everyone that has EVER rolled with me! I learned from each and everyone of you! Old man Jiu-Jitsu is in effect baby :) Thank you and God bless you and your familys...FTO
