Today marks one year since that life threatened incident with Zamaire; looking back on it all, today could have easily been a memorial instead. After one month in the ICU and about 6months of vigorous Rehab, without the proof of a scar its hard to tell that my then 8yr old had to learn to walk again. All I can say is thanks to the Almighty. God gets all the glory! Wasnt magic, wasnt luck but a lil bit of medical science and a whole lot of Divine Spiritual Power. It was a rough transition but since then my mind has gone to a more spiritual place. My life has changed in ways beyond understanding. The blessings of last year would take a whole book to communicate. Last year was my year. I spent the first four months out of work, depressed stressed, worried, crying all because I had to get my son back on track. Even though it started out miserable, the year ended great! My son is now a baptized member of the Church. He is fully physically able to do whatever he wants to do (no more playing on the bed though). No more monthly appts, no more PT, and no more activity limitations. As for me, my eagerness to know God have grown, I spend more time talking to him now. My faith and my will to follow him have grown tremendously. My life is looking much better than it has been. I now have a more positive outlook towards life. God took the time to trim my edges and I know he is preparing me for greatness and Im excited. Sometimes God has to slow you down to put some extra gas in your tank and service you before you stall in the middle of nowhere and thats my understanding of all that weve been through...#Godwillfixit #takeittoGodinprayer #thisismytestitmony #OnlyyouareholyLord.
