Today marks the 111th birthday of Cecil Beaton! Cecil Beaton first met Vivien in the 1930s and became good friends with her and Olivier. Beaton was not only a photograher and diarist, but a designer as well. He designed Viviens costumes for Anna Karenina and Audrey Hepburns for My Fair Lady, for which he won an Oscar.
