Today marks the 5th year that my mother Pauline Baker went home to be with the Lord. As I reflect on the last conversation we had before she left this earth, I remember feeling frustrated because I felt like I hadnt made it to the level that I wanted to be on in my music career/ministry. She looked me right in the eyes & with a weak but firm voice said, June (thats my nick name) look at all of the things you have done already, things that you use to only dream about, stop focusing on getting to the next level & just enjoy the journey. Wow! Those words still ring loud & clear in my heart & mind today, & thats why my mom will always & forever be my greatest inspiration. I love you Mother, your Son, Edmond Baker, Jr., a.k.a. June
