Today marks the 73rd anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor - TopicsExpress

Today marks the 73rd anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor that brought America into World War II. There are only a handful of survivors still alive to commemorate that day. Like Harold Henry Pouyadou of Mobile, Alabama. As the Japanese bombs were falling, he rushed into a medical dispensary to try to carry the wounded to safety. Just then, a bomb hit the building. It was a dud. That’s the only reason why he was just able to celebrate his 94th birthday. December 7th, 1941, is a date that still lives in infamy. Mr. Pouyadou and the other heroes of Pearl Harbor will always remember it. And after they have passed, all of us must always remember it for them.
